Wonderful Stay with Delicious Breakfasts
I had an excellent experience during my visit, staying in a Deluxe King Suite. The breakfast was truly outstanding, especially Janina's fluffy pancakes and a delightful breakfast casserole that left me wanting more. Art, our host, was exceptionally accommodating and helped make our stay even more enjoyable with great local recommendations. However, the walkable dining options in the area were quite limited, and many places closed early.

Gourmet, Gourmet, Gourmet
Every morning started with an really good breakfast featuring heavenly Orange-Vanilla-Praline French Toast that could make anyone swoon! Coupled with personalized dietary accommodations-hello gluten-free options! -These meals were the highlight of my stay. I also loved the cozy vibes of the historical mansion, especially the charming stained glass windows that added an artistic touch to every corner.
Strongly recommend 💖✨

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored nearby caverns and hiked in the mountains. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was truly delicious. Highly recommend getting a photo in the foyer. it’s beautiful! Can't wait to come back for another stay.
Only downside was the occasional noise from the passing train, but it wasn't too bothersome.

The cozy Victorian-style room was a perfect spot for relaxation, and the jacuzzi tub was a delightful surprise after a day of hiking. Enjoying the delicious breakfast while taking in the garden view set a lovely tone for our morning. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, but it kept the room cool, which we appreciated, so just bring some earplugs for a better sleep! 😊

Breakfast was a showstopper! Janina's American pancakes were fluffy clouds of heaven, and that breakfast casserole? Pure bliss! Plus, Art was an all-star host, ensuring we had everything we needed for epic hikes. Cozy digs and warm vibes made our stay unforgettable.
But let’s be real, the walkable dining options are slim pickings and close way too early. We had to hustle to grab a bite!

More comfy seating in common areas would be nice.

The Inn of the Shenandoah is a charming spot with large breakfasts and a cozy atmosphere, although a lack of communication about dietary preferences was disappointing. The room was clean, but the jacuzzi had some issues. Overall, a pleasant experience in a lovely location.

Decent stay with a tasty breakfast
We stopped in Luray on our way to Gatlinburg and got a spacious room in a cottage. The layout was a little weird, though. The innkeepers were super friendly, and breakfast was delicious, but all the carbs were kinda heavy—would’ve loved some healthier options. Just wish we had gotten a room in the main house!
